Deliciously Different Ways to Celebrate World Gin Day!

Updated: Jan 24

Our favourite day of the year, World Gin Day

Organised by everyone’s favourite gin swigging primate: Gin Monkey, the idea is simple: get people together all around the world and raise a glass to the brilliant spirit that is GIN. Whether it’s in a cocktail, a G&T or neat as part of a tasting, let’s celebrate the wonderful juniper-laced spirit on the second Saturday in June!

Discover what’s on in your area by searching for the #WorldGinDay hashtag across social media!

Watch a special video, put together to celebrate World Gin Day 2020, and follow the journey of a gin and tonic around the world, to some unique locations!

Here, at The Only Way Is Spirits, we don't need a special day for us to raise a glass of our favourite spirit! But it did get us thinking about how to celebrate GIN in some new long (and easy!) sips and cocktails.

So here's some ideas from us that come highly recommended!

Our Signature Gin with San Pellegrino Aranciata

The beautiful orange notes in the Gin combine perfectly with this Italian classic, making the perfect summer drink.

Be warned these are incredibly moreish, so be sure to stock up on a few cans!

San Pellegrino Limonata also makes a delightful, slightly more tart, partner for our Gin.

It even goes with our Raspberry Pink Gin. Try it!

Pink on Pink

We don't think you can have too much pink this summer, but that's probably due to our current obsession with Pink Gin!

Try our Raspberry Pink Gin with Fentiman's Rose Lemonade for a floral, sweet lift to the usual G&T.

If you prefer tonic, the Fever-Tree masters have also released the ideal partner in the shape of their Raspberry and Rhubarb tonic.

Garnish both drinks with a few raspberries and find a place to relax in the sun this World Gin Day.

Summer Gin Bellini

This is both delightfully simple and equally decadent. If you want to spoil yourself this weekend, look no further.

5ml Chambord

70ml Prosecco

70ml lemonade

Combine all ingredients in a champagne flute or saucer. Garnish with raspberries.

We can't wait to see how you're going to celebrate World Gin Day this Saturday. Be sure to tag us on our socials.

Cheers!
